The Flowers Are Almost Here!
March proverbially blows in with wind and rain while we wait for the sunshine and flowers of spring. My daffodils are already poking their narrow leaves out of the ground as I write this, testing whether or not it’s too early to start the next season. Tulips are smarter—they wait a few more weeks before they test the waters.
I’ve been walking in the mornings and counting the walkers, runners and dogs that I encounter. Usually I see more walkers than runners, and always a handful of dogs. Yesterday the temperature had dipped into the thirties and I saw only 3 walkers, 2 runners, and no dogs. Does that prove that dogs are smarter than their silly humans??
Killer Wedding is the second book in my Christie O’Mara cozy mystery series–at least it will be if I can get the next 15,000 words to cooperate with my plan. I was invited to a wedding last weekend and couldn’t help but notice the flowers and wonder if any of them were dangerous or poisonous. That’s what happens to a mystery author’s brain when writing about almost anything. My imagination runs away with me and “sees” events that haven’t happened, but could! It’s a wonder I sleep well.
In the meantime, I hope you enjoy reading my other books and perhaps you will find something you enjoy from my fellow authors.
Until next time, happy reading!
