Big Things Are Happening!
After two weeks in France it’s time to get back to the business of books and getting a new audiobook ready for release. If all goes as planned, “Killer Flowers” will be available for the audiobook fans of the world by mid-May. There were some challenges with getting the narration completed, but it’s finally done and I should have it uploaded by the time you read this. Fingers crossed!
We met delightful people during our 14 days of land and river cruise excursion. The French shopkeepers and servers were very patient with my high school French, even though they all spoke lovely English. My husband swears he can’t look at another cathedral, chateau, castle, or Roman or Medieval ruin, but I was enthralled with the French history. I ordered a book (I like to hold real books instead of reading eBooks) to learn more, just because.
“Killer Wedding,” the second book in my Christie’s Flower Shoppe cozy mystery series, is in the hands of my editor as I write this. I’m hoping there will be minimal revision this time so it will be ready to release sometime this summer. I love the cover, which I will share with you soon. And I am eager to start book eight in my Julia Fairchild series. I spent a little time while on the plane coming up with a plot and a few twists and turns.
Until next time, happy reading!

Christie O’Mara is thrilled to finally be living her dream of running her own flower shop. With her grandmother’s legacy guiding her, she sets out to create beautiful floral arrangements and unique gifts for the small town she calls home. But little does she know that her grand opening will be overshadowed by a decades-old murder mystery.
While preparing the shop for its first day of business, Christie stumbles upon a long-lost note hidden within an antique desk. The cryptic message hints at a connection to a murder that took place in the same small town years ago. Intrigued, she begins to dig deeper, hoping to unravel the truth behind the mysterious note while also juggling the demands of her newfound business.
Just as she starts to make progress, Christie receives devastating news: one of her special “flowers with a message” bouquets has been delivered to a customer who is found dead shortly thereafter. Suddenly, her business is under scrutiny, and Christie finds herself at the center of a murder investigation. Determined to clear her name and prove the innocence of her Killer Flowers, she embarks on a quest for the truth with the help of her beloved Aunt Doris and shop cat, Stormy.
KILLER FLOWERS, the first cozy mystery novel in the Christie’s Flower Shoppe series.

In the sunny desert landscape of Palm Desert, Julia Fairchild and her adventurous sister Carly embark on a thrilling hot air balloon ride. Little do they know, this seemingly innocent excursion will thrust them into a web of mystery and intrigue that they never could have imagined. As they float peacefully through the sky, their carefree afternoon takes a dark turn when their eyes catch sight of a lifeless body lying motionless among the unforgiving sands below.
Speculations arise when it is revealed that the deceased is believed to be a missing financier, Trevor Lundgren, who had been under investigation for unusual investment practices. Authorities were convinced that he had fled the country to escape the consequences of his actions.
However, as Julia and Carly investigate deeper, they unravel a murderous plot which puts them in the line of fire.
JOSHUA’S TREE, the seventh standalone murder mystery in the Julia Fairchild series.
